We are trained to diagnose and treat a wide variety of conditions ranging from pain, reproductive disorders, digestive issues, to the common cold. To see the World Health Organization’s list of conditions commonly treated by Chinese Medicine, please click here.
Traditional Chinese medicine views disease as an expression of imbalance in the body. The specific cause of the imbalance varies widely from one patient to the next. For example, if several different patients come in with similar conditions (e.g., headaches) it is often the case that different treatment strategies may be used on each of them. This is because the root cause of each person’s condition may be different. This is the one of the greatest strengths of Chinese Medicine – it views each individual on a case by case basis rather than giving “one size fits all” therapy.
In addition to acupuncture, there are many other tools at our disposal to help the body achieve optimum wellness. We frequently employ several of these, which can include Tuina Massage, Cupping, Moxa, and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
